Why use IP Telephony Service?

With a single IP telephony number, multiple staff or agents can simultaneously communicate with multiple customers. There’s no need for separate phone numbers for each department or staff — making business communication and customer service much more efficient.

What is IVR and how does it work?

IVR stands for Interactive Voice Response. When a caller makes a call, the system automatically answers the number. The caller then hears a pre-recorded message, such as: “Welcome to [Company Name]. For information about our services, press 1. To lodge a complaint, press 2. To learn how to become a new customer, press 3. To speak directly with an agent, press 0.” If the caller presses 1 or 3, they will hear a pre-recorded audio clip. Pressing 2 will transfer the call to the complaint-handling team. Pressing 0 will direct the call to customer care or reception. In short, IVR automates tasks that would otherwise require one or more staff members — making customer interaction faster and more efficient.

What are User Extensions and Concurrent Call Channels?

User Extension refers to how many staff members will use the IP number in the office. The number is first configured on the server, and then extensions are set up based on the customer's needs. Concurrent Call Channel refers to how many customers can be spoken to at the same time using a single phone number. The number of channels can be customized according to customer preference.

How many people can be spoken to at the same time using a single number?

With an IP telephony number, you can talk to as many people as needed, based on the number of channels you use. However, the capacity also depends on the PBX hardware you’re using. If you choose our cloud-based VPS service, there are no limitations — you can scale as much as your business requires.

Can I host an IP number from any operator with you?

Yes, absolutely. We can host IP telephony numbers from any operator. However, if a specific operator requires a dedicated data connection, the customer must arrange that on their own.

If I purchase a number, can someone else use it later?

No. The number is registered under your personal information and national ID at the time of purchase, so no one else can use it. However, as per the terms, if the number is inactive for 90 days, it may be temporarily suspended. If unused for 180 days, it may be permanently deactivated. To keep the number active, you must make some outgoing calls each month to any mobile operator.
